I’m an expat, get me out of here… Print E-mail
Last Christmas, expat health insurer BUPA International surveyed expats from more than 35 countries about their lives abroad. At the time most said their lives improved since leaving Britain but they still missed traditional British institutions such as Yorkshire Puddings, Marks & Spencer and Marmite. Expats from the UK missed BBC’s Question Time, a decent pint of beer, crumpets, Marks & Spencer, Marmite, Match of the Day, the rain, walkers crisps and Yorkshire puddings. So, just over six months later do you still feel the same way? Have you come back to the UK for a British summer only to realise why you moved away in the first place (missing the rain, huh?!)? Or did you only move for work and would come back in a flash if you could? Let us know what you miss by contacting me at editor@finance4expats.com.

I’ll let you know the results of this impromptu survey over the next few months.
